Questions
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. The free plan is free with no card, and you can add monitors the moment you have an account.
- What can Monitrx check?
- HTTP and HTTPS endpoints with status and keyword assertions, TCP ports, SSH banners, DNS records, ping, and scheduled jobs that report in before a deadline.
- Where are checks run from?
- From several regions, so an outage that only some of your users can see still shows up. You can also pin a monitor to one region.
- How often are checks run?
- As often as your plan's minimum interval allows. The comparison above lists the fastest interval on each plan.
- What happens when something goes down?
- After the number of failed checks you choose, an incident opens and the right person is notified. It closes by itself when a check recovers, and your public status page updates without anyone touching it.
- Can I change plans, or get something custom?
- Limits are set per organisation. Start free, and if a limit does not fit what you need, get in touch and we will sort it out.
